Sometimes rematches are not the best match-ups, I’m sure this will be different. Last year these team faced each other on a much smaller scale, and TCU barely beat BSU. This year most critics, myself included, felt like these teams should have been given the opportunity to play BCS automatic qualifying teams. But of course, that did not happen. I’m sure we can thank the Utes, and Boise State for embarrassing BCS teams in the past. Oh well, showdown in the desert tonight.

TCU enters the game with the #1 Ranked defense in the country, BSU the #1 scoring offense in the country. Yes, something must give tonight. I have a tremendous amount of respect for both of these schools, but to me, TCU is simply too good this year. I certainly will not underestimate Boise State, but TCU is one of the most complete teams in all of college football. PERIOD.

Oh by the way, the Mountain West Conference is 4-0 in all bowl games right now, the icing on the cake would be a TCU victory tonight. I expect a tough game, and Boise State will be tough to beat no doubt, but GAry Patterson’s team is ready. My Pick: TCU
