This is the reason Brett Favre was brought to Minnesota. The Vikings are one game away from the erasing ghost of Viking failures in the past…and the Super Bowl.  I know Favre has been the catalyst, but I feel like Adrian Peterson has to be the key today for the Vikings today.  The ex-Falcon (Favre) will have to do his part today as well. Every time I turn around I hear someone saying they expect Favre to finally have one of his “turnover” games. I really think Favre is past that point, at least in this offense, but today Brett will need to be extra careful. The Saints defense is one of the best in the NFL at creating turnovers. I am certain they will be expecting opportunities when Favre comes to town today.  Enter Peterson, who has really fallen off in his production the second half of the season. They need a big game out of him today in a big way.

Drew Brees has now delivered the Saints to two NFC Championship games in four seasons. I know how talented the Vikings defense is, but Drew Brees gets rid of the ball fast. He seems at times to will his team to Victory when they need it most. Listen, being and ex-Falcon myself, it pains me to pick the Saints to win, but I think they will today.  As a football fan, I like Favre and Brees equally. You can almost say that whoever has the best game between them, that team will win.  Notice I said, almost. Follow the recipe to Victory, and work the plan accordingly. I would  like to see Favre make it, but my gut tells me otherwise. The city of New Orleans’s has been dealt a few tough blow already, they could really use the boost. Just my gut feeling here….My Pick: Saints
