**This was supposed to auto post, guess not**
Speaking of match ups, they do not get much better than these two teams. The Lakers size, and depth have paced them this entire season. Lead again by #24, the Lakers were expected to be in this position. Boston on the other hand, at times this season, looked like their best was behind them. Clearly healthy and recharged, the Celtics have cruised through the playoffs dismantling each Eastern Conference power in it’s way.
I know the franchises faced off in 2008, but these are different teams. The Lakers are the defending Champs, and they are the better overall team. That being said the Celtics are playing very well, and they match up well vs the Lakers. Expect each game to be a fight to the finish.
I will not even try to fool anyone and act like I don’t have a bias. I am a Lakers fan. As a Lakers fan you dream for the opportunity to meet, and defeat the Celtics in the finals. The Race for flag supremacy continues. Can the Lakers close the gap, and add one another banner? Or will the Celtics continue to dominate the Lakers in the finals?
My cheering for LA aside, I do not see Kobe & Co losing this series. I do anticipate 7 games, but this is the Lakers time, again.
**New/Update**
So, we are tied up. Surprise surprise. A tail of two games thus far as the Celtics looked like they were not going to be able to stop the Lakers after game one. Oh what a difference veterans, who are champions, can make. Ray Allen lit up the Lakers for an NBA record 8 three pointers. If that wasn’t bad enough for Lakers, Kobe Bryant was not his usually sharp self. We all know Kobe will bounce back with a vengeance, but he needs Lamar Odom to find the stadium, and fast. Odom is having an awful Finals so far. I think Odom will pick it up, but the Lakers still have nobody to run with Rondo. Ultimately, that could be the deciding factor in this series.
