Grand Opening, Gigi’s Playhouse!

I was privilege to be invited by Adrienne Mulligan President, The Skate Foundation, to do the ribbon cutting of Gigi’s Playhouse! Gigi’s is a down syndrome awareness center, and a fantastic place for families to get together and share their experiences living with down syndrome.

I would encourage you all to take part in this wonderful place, especially those families who have a member with Trisomy 22!

Jarvis Green Foundation event

A few weekends ago, I had the pleasure of attending the Jarvis Green’s Foundation, charity weekend in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The festivities included a comedy show on Thursday night, and a Wine Tasting/dinner on Friday night that included “Rat Pack” impersonators.

I was very pleased I could attend because Jarvis Green does a lot of work in the community, with an emphasis to help disadvantaged impoverished single mothers. Also in attendance, Kevin Faulk, Randall Gay, Kaleema from Dirty Money, Stefani Vara & Brandon Harris, to name a few.

Join Me on 790THEZONE Monday!

Starting Monday, for the next few weeks I will be hosting the 10am to 1pm slot on 790TheZone. 790TheZone is Atlanta’s Sports talk leader, and the new home of the Atlanta Falcons radio network. I have had a relationship with 790 that dates back to 2000, when I hosted my own
Show for one night a week.

Fortunately, I have consistently had a presence on the radio from the numerous call in’s I am requested to do. Always thankful to be invited as a guest, I certainly look forward to this opportunity now. Who know’s where this will lead? *Wink.

“Men anpil chay pa lou” (Translation: “Many Hands Make the Load Lighter”) As of Jan. 25th, 7,000 tees have been ordered, generating $70,000 for the people of Haiti. They are lifting their maximum donation cap and are planning to print as many as 15,000 more tees, including KIDS sizes.
